Please RSVP to sheila.zuschek@elbertcountyagalliance.org. You do not need to bring a dish, but if you wish please include it with your RSVP.

Trivia

This year the Elbert Woman’s Group made 1,125 apple dumplings from Gala apples. They switched to Gala apples four years ago. What kind of apples did they use before that?

Elves Needed!

We still need more baker elves and server elves for the sugar cookie decorating kits we are giving away at the Elizabeth Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3rd. Baker elves will make one to four dozen five-inch sugar cookies to freeze for the event. (We will supply the cutters!) Server elves will pack them into decorating kit bags and hand them out at the event. This is a great family activity! We had so much fun last year. Sign up to volunteer by sending an email to sheila.zuschek@elbertcountyagalliance.org.

Cookoffs are Coming

Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual ECAA Community Chili Cookoff being held January 28th at Once Upon A Time Events. For more information go to: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/429717946947. If you like the heat, stay in the kitchen and also sign up for the Community Cajun Cookoff in February: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/431860274707.

Homestead Fair Committee

The Homestead Fair Committee will be reforming in 2023; and we need you. Committee members will help in venue selection and program development, recruit vendors and sponsors, and/or boost the marketing campaign. Many hands make light work and starting in early 2023 will make planning that much easier. Contact Tonya Roche at tonya.roche@elbertcountyagalliance.org for more information.

If you have announcements or classifieds that should be included in the next Roundup? Send them to news@elbertcountyagalliance.org.
