Tomorrow! Learn and Share at the Member Meeting
Meet other members, share your projects, find out what others are doing, learn about ECAA initiatives and programs, and test your agricultural knowledge. Mix, mingle, and snack before a brief member meeting, which will be followed by agricultural trivia. There will be a prize for the trivia winner. The event will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9th at the American Legion in Elizabeth. 4-H Gala Supports Scholarships
Support Elbert County 4-H scholarships through the annual 4-H Gala on April 23rd, 5:00 p.m. at the Elbert County Fairgrounds. There will be a dinner and silent auction. Sponsorships and donation opportunities are available, or you can simply attend. $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under. Board of Directors
Voting concluded in the ECAA officer election on March 31st. Nine individuals voted and two group members split there vote for a total of ten votes. The slate of candidates was elected unanimously. Your board of directors for 2022 is: Robert Hammervold, Chair, Renee Burton, Vice Chair, Wendy Walp, Treasurer, Sheila Zuschek, Secretary, Alan Holman, Member at Large, and Lark Fogel, Member at Large. Renee will succeed to the position of chair in 2023. Congratulations to the board. Members should feel free to contact any board member with questions.

Homestead Fair
Information about the Homestead Fair including sponsorship opportunities and vendor sign up is online now at https://elbertcountyagalliance.org/fair. Also, the Homestead Fair committee is looking for more volunteers to make it a great festival. The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. at Isabel’s Coffee, 796 E Kiowa Avenue in Elizabeth.

Seed Librarian Education
Justine Hernandez of Pima County Public Library and Paulina Borrego of Mass Aggie Seed Library will share the inner-workings of starting a seed library and how to sustain it in a free Seed Libraries Webinar on Thursday, April 28th from 2:00-3:30 p.m.  For more information and to register go to: https://rockymountainseeds.org/seed-libraries-webinar.
