One Good Apple
Swedish scientists have found evidence that having trained cows who demonstrate calm behavior to a herd can decrease the overall fearfulness and stress of the herd. Check out their study at:

Cowboy Up!
We are still looking for volunteers to assist with the ECAA booth at Cowboy Up! next Saturday. If you are planning to go to the rodeo, either sign up for a time or at least stop by and give Renee a short break. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and tell them about ECAA’s great programs in support of agricultural related businesses and homesteading life.

I’ve got a big festival and family events the next two weekends, so no Roundup. The Roundup will be back soon or sooner if someone would like to volunteer to take it for a week.

If you have announcements or classifieds that should be included in the next Roundup? Send them to news@elbertcountyagalliance.org.
